            14       First Day of School!  (please NO INSTRUMENTS until we ask you to bring them!)

            30       All instruments and supplies due for ALL 5th Graders enrolled in band

September

            3       6th grade sectionals start before school for CISD Honor Band (encouraged)

         

October

            4       Signed Policies Packet Page (page returned to school) and

                                   Band Membership Fee Due on SchoolCash Online

                                   (Concerns? Contact your child's band teacher)

 

November

            9       6th grade Honor Band Auditions hosted by Mitchell Intermediate, (most students who

                                   attended sectionals) 

            20, 21   York Bands Winter Concerts (8th Grade on the 20th, 7th Grade on the 21st)

December

            9        TCI 5th Grade Band Demonstration Concert 6:00 pm (required - revised date)

            10      TCI 6th Grade Band Winter Concert 6:00 pm (required) 

            12      Grand Oaks Bands Winter Concert

January 2025

            7          Tom Cox Wind Symphony Auditions begin before school (6th Grade Only - optional)

            16        6th grade CISD Honor Band sectionals at Collins Intermediate 5:30-7:00 pm

            18        6th grade CISD Honor Band Clinic/Concert at McCullough Junior High

            21        TCI Wind Symphony rehearsals start before school (every Tuesday & Thursday)

            1 or 8   GOHS Bands Spring Concert

            3           Incoming 5th grade Instrument Placement Interviews (8:30am to 4pm)

            6           5th grade Band Spring Concert 6:00 pm (required)

            7           Incoming 5th Grade Percussion Placement Interviews (must attend 5/3 first!)

            13         6th grade Band Spring Concert 6:00 pm (required)

            20, 21   Incoming 5th grade Instrument Placement Interviews (5pm to 7pm)
